Ian Watson
Ian is a playwright, scriptwriter and copywriter. He graduated from film school in the early 90s and has written scripts in most media from radio to TV, stage and film and was also a newspaper columnist for several years. He has also written a novel and various blogs. His contribution to musical theatre includes the book for the musical LIFT, which he co-wrote with composer and lyricist Craig Adams, and the concept to a new musical Defect. He has written several plays, monologues and sketches. His play ‘Frank 4 Sophie 4 Eva’ is currently in development, as is his short film ‘Breakdown Service’. Ian is married to actress Caroline Deverill and has a son, Cooper, and a dog called Alf.
